Jobs Announces Secret Colloboration With Furniture Industry

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, who briefly left the company for medical reasons announced today he was actually working on a top secret marketing and product development project for the furniture industry code named, 'Brown Asian Box.' "The furniture industry has a unique ability to understand the consumer unlike any industry I've ever seen" said Jobs at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, CA. Jobs remains tight lipped about the marketing campaign he has devised but told Furniture Tomorrow, "it largely focuses on price and financing and brings the entire industry together focusing on one message."

Jobs who rocketed to the top of the consumer products industry by offering 2 for 1 deals and no interest, no payments on popular products like the i-pod, i-phone and Mac says the furniture industry has inspired some of his most successful marketing efforts at Apple. In a new ad released today by Apple, Jobs appears in his signature black turtleneck, "you won't pay $399.00 for the new i-phone, not even $299.00- for a limited time come down to Apple and pay just $199.00--but that's not it--we'll include a free i-pod, i-pod dock and no interest, no payments until 2012."

"It's largely price that brings people into our stores" said Jobs "and of course that desire to feel average that captures the heart of the consumer." Jobs is expected to unveil the new marketing and product development campaign at the October High Point market in the lobby of the High Point Hotel.
