Bracelets Remind Furniture Executives of What Not To Do

The phrase "What Would Jesus Do" (WWJD) became popular in the 1990's as thousands of Christians sported the popular silicon bracelets as a reminder of their belief that Jesus is the example to be followed in daily life. Recently, the popular bracelets have found their way into the furniture industry as hundreds of furniture executives have been spotted wearing a bracelet embossed with the letters WWFBD: "What Would Furniture Brands Do."

"I wear this bracelet to remind me what not to do when I get the urge to re-invent the wheel every morning when I get to work" said one executive who asked to remain nameless.

Based on anecdotal evidence, the simple bracelet has saved dozens of furniture companies from simply awful ideas including:

Laying off your sales force
Approving unneccesary and unearned bonuses
Having Board meetings at Dave & Busters
Guaranteeing retail leases
Paying HR Executives 7 figures
Knocking off designs from one division at another division
Closing all US factories

The bracelets are available through Furniture Tomorrow for a limited time only.

  1. waterboarding all 7 remaining broyhill customers to get "deep marketing insights" to share with all 14 vice-presidents of marketing.

only to discover that these boneheads only bought broyhill because the store shared a parking lot with burger king...
