Broyhill to Simplify With 12 Tier Pricing Policy

Broyhill Furniture has announced plans to implement a 12 tiered pricing policy that can be figured in 12 easy steps. "We have more tiers than anyone in the industry right now" said Broyhill Vice President of Sales, Mark Stephens. "If you have the right policies, product will follow" said Stephens. The tiers will not only control pricing, but also eligibility for snacks and coffee in the manufacturer's High Point showroom. "Coffee is for closers" said Stephens referring to Tier A and B customers. Management has instructed company representatives to deter Tier C and D customers from partaking in beverages and other accoutrements during the upcoming April High Point market. Tier C and D customers who place qualifying orders during market week will be considered Tier A or Tier B until they return home, "then the fun stops" said Stephens.

The multi-color and multi-tiered price lists and corresponding color key graph will be on display in the manufacturer's High Point showroom in April. Broyhill will create 15-20 customer service positions in a 24 hour call center in Mumbai to answer retailer questions.
